Maple Leafs F Lupul avoids suspension, receives fine
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul avoided a suspension from the NHL, but was fined $10,000 for his cross-check to the head on Detroit Red Wings forward Patrick Eaves at Wednesday's Winter Classic.
