Logan Couture is riding a four-game goal scoring streak, turns out he didn't require bigger nets
Apparently all San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture required for his luck to change this season was a dash of self-deprecating humor.
On December 28th Couture was mired in a long goalless drought when the young Sharks forward took to Twitter to mock himself. At the time Couture joked that he'd need to be shooting at a soccer net if he ever hoped to get back on the score sheet...
Well it has been nothing but net for Couture ever since. On Saturday afternoon, Couture extended his goal scoring streak to four games by banging home a loose puck in the goal mouth following an excellent individual effort against the Colorado Avalanche:
Couture hasn't failed to score in a game since his enlarged net tweet, and might want to try making himself the but of his own jokes more often.
