PHOTO: Ilya Bryzgalov's new mask features his children's drawings
On Sunday night Edmonton Oilers goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov debuted his new goalie mask in an Oilers victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Bryzgalov had been playing with an all-white lid while waiting for his children's drawings - which appear on either side of his new mask - to to rendered.
The mask itself features a big orange splash on the front, presumably to indicate either the paint (used by Bryzgalov's kids in their art-work), or an oil spill.
The mask also features an Oilers logo on the top, and Bryzgalov's "Bryz" signature on the chin. On either side of the mask are Bryzgalov's childrens drawings:
