Martin St. Louis has the backing of hockey legend Scotty Bowman when it comes to Team Canada.
Bowman, who owns the record for most coaching wins (1,244) and Stanley Cups (nine) in NHL history, took to Twitter on Wednesday to offer some much-needed logic in terms of why the Tampa Bay Lightning forward should have been selected.
On Canada Olympic Team Crosby-Kunitz. Toews-Sharp. Getzlaff-Perry makes sense i would also like to see Stamkos-St.Louis All great combos

Alas, it wasn't meant to be, and, barring injury, Bowman's logic won't be implemented in Sochi.
In looking at his line of thinking, it's hard to argue with Bowman; maybe HE should be behind the bench in Sochi and add to his already legendary resume.
