PHOTOS: Questionable wardrobe choices highlight Hockey Day in Canada

CBC's annual "Hockey Day in Canada" event is off to a colorful start.

The broadcast began with hosts Ron MacLean and Don Cherry re-enacting the birth of the Lloydminster, Alberta, where the festivities are being held. Cherry read from the town charter and MacLean dressed like a referee/cook/farmer/person with a sock on their head.

Shortly after that introduction, MacLean took the ice at the outdoor rink wearing a Calgary Flames hat and a half-Saskatchewan Roughriders, half-Edmonton Oilers jersey.

Later in the broadcast, we were introduced to the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Lloydminster Bobcats, who donned suit-style jerseys as a tribute to Cherry.

We'll give you a minute to rinse out your eyeballs, but be sure to check back here for the latest bizarre clothing decisions broadcast on Canadian national television.
