Maple Leafs D Gardiner on team's streak: 'We've found out that winning is fun'

Maple Leafs defenseman Jake Gardiner has a simple explanation for the team's longest winning streak since 2007.

Toronto defeated the Phoenix Coyotes on Monday for its fifth straight victory. The last time the Maple Leafs won five in a row, their coach was Paul Maurice and their starting goaltender was Andrew Raycroft.

Toronto's current winning streak was preceded by a four-game losing skid. Goaltender Jonathan Bernier believes the team simply was not competing during that stretch.
