Report: Flames would trade Cammalleri for first-round pick and a prospect
Set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, Mike Cammalleri is rumored to be talking about a contract extension with the Calgary Flames.
However, Nick Kypreos of Sportsnet believes the 31-year-old may be able to command more on the open market, thus leading the Flames to consider a trade prior to the March 5 deadline.
Brian Burke's asking price is believed to be a a first-round draft pick and a prospect, and the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks are among the teams that might be interested.
Speaking of Cammalleri some think. #Coyotes might be an interesting place for him to go #Flames want to deal him.
