Report: Several Sabres veterans available on the trade market
The Buffalo Sabres were eliminated from the postseason almost before the season began, so it should come as no surprise that they're one of the teams to watch closely heading into the NHL Olympic roster freeze this week, and the trade deadline in early March.
While the Sabres' trade posture as it pertains to Ryan Miller remains inscrutable and the club is likely to offload forwards Steve Ott and Matt Moulson over the next month, a handful of less heralded Sabres assets are reportedly available on the trade market as well.
According to a report from TSN's Bob McKenzie on Tuesday evening, "Henrik Tallinder, Drew Stafford and Cody McCormick could also be moved" by the Sabres before the deadline.
