SWE vs. CAN: Sidney Crosby gives Canada a 2-0 lead
Sidney Crosby, criticized all tournament for his lack of finish, came through for Canada in the second period of the Olympic gold medal game.
Crosby took advantage of a Swedish neutral zone turnover and skated in on Henrik Lundqvist, who was impenetrable despite unfathomable pressure from a focused Canadian side in the second period, and beat the Swedish goalie with a lovely backhand deke.
Crosby gave Canada a commanding two-goal lead late in the second period.
