Blackhawks sign F Brandon Bollig to three year extension

The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed enforcer Brandon Bollig to a three-year contract extension.
Bollig has managed to contribute six goals and 12 points this season while playing effective fourth line minutes and dressing in all 62 of Chicago's games. He's been a major contributor on a Blackhawks fourth line that has throttled opponents all season.
Over the past three seasons Bollig has fought 17 times in the NHL, amassing an 11-3-3 record in his bouts according to hockeyfights.com voters.
Bollig's extension is worth $3.75 million in total, with an average cap-hit of $1.25 million per season.
