Report: Canucks hold onto Ryan Kesler past the trade deadline
After a week of intense, unrelenting speculation the Vancouver Canucks have decided to hold onto Ryan Kesler past Wednesday's trade deadline.
From CBC's Elliotte Friedman:
Kesler was not traded. VAN no moves other than Diaz.

There are conflicting reports about whether or not Canucks ownership forbid a Kesler trade from happening. No reliable sources have confirmed those reports however.
Other reports suggest that the Canucks set the price for Ryan Kesler, no teams were willing to meet it, and the team was content to sell their star centerman another day.
