Report: Maple Leafs G Bernier expected to undergo MRI

Although the lower-body injury sustained in Toronto's rousing 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday is likely to be inconsequential, Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier is expected to undergo an MRI to reaffirm the team's hopeful notion.
Amid a five-game road-trip, Bernier may have to travel back to Toronto in order to receive the MRI and learn the full extent of his injury, per Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.
Although a definitive decision on Bernier has not been made, the Leafs have called up Drew MacIntyre from the Toronto Marlies as a precaution.
James Reimer, who stopped all 31 shots he faced in relief Thursday night, is expected to get the start Sunday when the Leafs participate in a rare weekend matinee in Washington.
