Islanders D Brian Strait breaks hand in loss to Wild

A returning Matt Moulson and the Minnesota Wild provided the insult Tuesday night on Long Island, while it was New York Islanders defenseman Brian Strait taking on the injury. 

The 26-year-old back-peddler, who netted career-highs in games and points, may have had his career-season end after suffering the injury amid the 6-0 blow-out loss.
