VIDEO: Oilers head coach Dallas Eakins was housebound after disastrous weekend
It was a weekend to forget for just about everyone associated with the Edmonton Oilers.
Incidents involving an Oilers jersey being thrown onto the ice and an altercation with Taylor Hall over a little splash of water only added to head coach Dallas Eakins' misery following an embarrassing 8-1 loss to the Calgary Flames on Saturday.
"I didn't even leave the house yesterday. I wanted to spend the day with my girls. You're living in a depressed state." D.Eakins

But Eakins couldn't avoid talking about it one last time as he faced the media Monday.
"I wanted to leave that game behind. However we have to deal with it today and then we'll move on." D.Eakins on Cgy loss.

It's going to be tough for the Oilers to avoid a league-worst point total. They face some of the toughest opponents in the Western Conference in their final 10 games of the season, including three meetings with the Anaheim Ducks and two with the San Jose Sharks.
Cheer up, Dallas. At this pace, you will have another number one pick that you can publicly shame next year for showing some form of emotion when your team loses to its biggest rival.
