Florida Panthers netminder Roberto Luongo left Thursday night's game between the Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes after being run by Hurricanes forward Radek Dvorak.
Luongo remained in the game initially but didn't return after the first intermission. He will not play the third period, although Luongo missing the balance of the contest appears to be the Panthers just playing it safe with a star player:
#FlaPanthers goalie coach Robb Tallas said Luongo injury nothing serious, pure precaution. Should play Saturday v #Canadiens

Dvorak was assessed a game misconduct. Though the Hurricanes winger appeared to try and stop before making contact with the star Panthers netminder, he may be hearing from the Department of Player Safety.
