The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned forward Teuvo Teravainen to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League, according to the team's official website.
The highly-touted prospect appeared in three games for Chicago, failing to register a point while firing four shots on goal.
As the playoffs draw near, it appears as though the Blackhawks have decided the 18th overall pick in 2012 is not quite ready for prime time.
