VIDEO: Flyers' Streit finishes crisp passing play to trim Rangers lead
Eric Hartline / USA TODAY Sports
The Philadelphia Flyers were outplayed by the New York Rangers for most of the first period of Game 3, but escaped trailing by only one goal thanks to this highlight-reel passing play off a neutral zone turnover.
Giroux intercepts an errant puck at center ice and sends it to Jakub Voracek along the right side boards. Voracek gains the zone and stops below the hash marks to find a streaking Mark Streit in the slot. Streit makes no mistake one-timing the puck past an outstretched Henrik Lundqvist.
The Rangers restored their two-goal lead 5:17 into the second period and went on to win 4-1.
