VIDEO: Teuvo Teravainen, Leo Komarov star in the worst line change ever
Chicago Blackhawks to prospect Teuvo Teravainen has skill to burn and a bright future in hockey. And if that doesn't work out for him, he can always try slapstick comedy.
On Sunday, Finland faced the Czech Republic in a Euro Hockey Tour friendly, a tune up of sorts in advance of the World Hockey Championships in Minsk, Belarus; which begin on Friday.
During that game, which Finland ultimately won, Teravainen bungled a line-change massively. He attempted to jump over the boards as a teammate was opening the gate, and splatted amusingly on the bench. Then things compounded when Leo Komarov got tied up with Teravainen, fell, and caused a teammate jumping over the boards to fall as well. This has to be seen to be believed:
Presumably Charlie Chaplin is rolling in his grave, holding his belly, and laughing hysterically.
To add insult to injury, after the game was over Teravainen was cut from Finland's World Hockey Championship roster.
