Kings' Carter proves last year's words about Perry true: 'On the ice, he's a weasel man'
The Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings met five times during the season. As California teams, they see a lot of each other season after season. The Ducks have a supremely talented weapon on their team in Corey Perry.
On Monday night during the Ducks and Kings second-round series Game 2, Perry squirted some water into the glove of fellow Canadian and Kings forward Jeff Carter's glove.

Apparently Perry has done this before. According to Kings captain Dustin Brown, he did it in Game 1. Brown is hip to Perry's scene as he doesn't leave his gloves on the bench unattended.
Back in February of 2013, Carter was asked about Perry's antics and told John Hoven of Mayor's Manor, "Corey Perry’s a little rat. I know him really well, but he’s a rat on the ice." He spoke with a laugh about Perry that day.
Carter didn't stop there. He is conflicted with their relationship because as he says, they're good friends but on the ice it's a different story. "I love him off the ice, we’re good buddies. But, on the ice, he’s a weasel man, he’s dirty. He’s one hell of a player though."
Kings defenseman Drew Doughty and Perry were roommates in Sochi during the Olympics when they were competing for Team Canada. Now that they're enemies on the ice, Doughty notes something will be done about Perry being a weasel.
"I haven’t talked to him about it yet, but that’s a little bit of Perry’s game. You see him get two shots at [Jonathan Quick] tonight. We’re going to have to do something about that."
The Ducks and Kings play Game 3 in Los Angeles on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. ET.
