Blackhawks F Kris Versteeg (healthy scratch) will not play Game 4 Friday vs. Wild

Kris Versteeg will be a healthy scratch for Game 4 against the Wild on Friday, ESPN-AM 1000 in Chicago reports.

Analysis:

While Versteeg missed Game 2 because of an illness, this appears to be a healthy scratch as Hawks coach Joel Quenneville is toying with his lineup after the 4-0 loss on Tuesday in Game 3. Versteeg only saw a little more than eight minutes of ice time in Game 3 and one shot on goal. Versteeg had two goals and two assists in the first two games of the series against the Blues, but has been quiet since that time.
