Overview
Dal Colle recorded 143 points in two seasons with the Ontario Hockey League's Oshawa Generals. As a large left-winger in the OHL, he has great vision and a willingness to go to the dirty areas to get the puck.
Dal Colle possesses great hands but he also has a bruising slapshot that can be useful on the power play. He started his junior career playing with the likes of Boone Jenner (Columbus Blue Jackets), Scott Laughton (Philadelphia Flyers) and Tyler Biggs (Toronto Maple Leafs).
Dal Colle spent last summer with Team Canada's gold medal-winning U-18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial team, registering five points.
Dal Colle could be a fit on any NHL team with his skill set. He does not shy away from physical play and has speed and soft hands on his side.

James Onusko, The Edmonton Journal
Dal Colle has all the markings of an excellent NHL sniper, yet with soft hands giving him the ability to post a lot of assists. His shot is superb. It is hard and accurate. He also has a great release and the puck was off his stick almost immediately upon receiving the pass.

I need to be adding some physicality to my game, getting quicker. Those are the two things I think about mostly. Getting bigger and stronger are important for getting to the next level. I also want to work on my D zone. Looking at a guy like Scott Laughton has helped me in that regard. He's been a role model for me, too.
