PHOTO: Devastated Canadiens' mascot Youppi will pay up for lost bet with Jimmy Fallon on Sunday
Before the start of the Eastern Conference final between the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Rangers, Canadiens mascot Youppi made a bet with Tonight Show host and nominal Rangers fan Jimmy Fallon on the outcome of the series.
Now that the Canadiens have been eliminated, Fallon has won the bet and Youppi will be forced to pay up.
As per the original terms of the wager, Youppi will be forced to wear a Rangers jersey and tweet out 10 photos of himself in a variety of Montreal locations. The Canadiens' twitter account will also have to change their avatar to a photo of Fallon's choosing.
Here's the photo the Canadiens' twitter account shared on Friday of a mourning Youppi grieving over his Rangers Fallon sweater:
We have a sad Youppi! this morning, @jimmyfallon, but his jersey is here and he'll wear it on Sunday. #HabsFallonBet pic.twitter.com/yBJkwgjtDQ

Aw! Don't worry Youppi, it could be worse. It could be a Sharks jersey and there could be an extra "o" in Fallon.
