While celebrating the team's recent Stanley Cup victory at a parade in Los Angeles on Monday, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti gave a spot of political advice.
"There are two rules in politics: never ever be pictured with a drink in your hand," said the affable bilingual mayor with a last name almost straight out of Aiden Gillen's IMDB page, "and never swear." Then Garcetti raised his beer and said, "but this is a big f---ing day."
So basically never swear or be pictured with a drink in your hand if you're a politician, unless you're appealing to the every-man hockey fan voter. Got it.
