Report: Maple Leafs 'serious' about acquiring Dan Boyle

The New York Islanders acquired the exclusive rights to veteran defenseman Dan Boyle but were unable to come to an agreement. Other teams are now getting in on the action:
Leafs and Rangers among several teams interested in UFA Dan Boyle. Toronto's interest said to be ``serious.''

LeBrun talked to Boyle's agent George Bazos who said: "There are going to be good options for him. We’ll sift through it the next few days and see where it all leads."
Boyle is looking for a two-year deal.
