After suffering a second severe concussion in 2011, 10 months apart, former Boston Bruins forward Marc Savard will join the OHL's Ottawa 67's as a scout.
Savard was advised by doctors not to play the game again which would risk another concussion and subsequent brain damage. Savard took to the golf course on the PGA Canada Tour, but has gone back to his roots for his new position.
In 807 career NHL games, Savard scored 207 goals for 706 points.
