Griffin is day-to-day after suffering a shoulder stinger on Sunday, according to the Islanders Point Blank.
It didn't take Griffin long to fit in perfectly with the Isles as they are perennially one of the most injured teams in the NHL. This is, however, considered to be a minor injury and Griffin should be back on the ice before the end of the week.
