Report: Sharks ditching black jerseys in the postseason, will wear the much better teal ones
There's really no logical explanation for why the San Jose Sharks dominate every regular season, and then struggle so enormously come playoff time.
In the wake of their epic, historic playoff collapse against the eventual 2014 Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings, the Sharks seem ready to try anything. They're even willing to ditch the black jerseys that they've worn for playoff home games since 2011.
From David Pollak of the San Jose Mercury News:
Maybe this will help. Have it on good authority that #SJSharks are switching back from black to teal jerseys in the post-season. #goodmove

This is the right call all around. Not only are San Jose's teal jerseys much better looking, but teams that wear black tend to have more penalties called against them. It's just harder to call a guy wearing teal for charging.
