Some Maple Leafs fans left disappointed by Fan Fest
The Toronto Maple Leafs continued their Leafs Nation Fan Fest celebrations on Saturday, unveiling two more members of Legends Row and providing fans with a chance to meet some of their favorite Maple Leafs players.
Unfortunately, crowds and disorganization left some fans feeling disgruntled by the event, which featured appearances from players such as Phil Kessel, Jonathan Bernier, Jake Gardiner and Nazem Kadri. Many who paid the entry fee ($39 plus applicable fees for adults) felt they did not get their money's worth and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations:
#TMLtalk #TMLFanFest14 @MapleLeafs Spent $$ to line up all day. My son totally disappointed. Met no Leaf players. Bad way to build support.

@MapleLeafs horribly disappointed in #FanFest2014 ! Would not recommend this to anyone. Waited in line for 4 hours to do nothing.

The official Maple Leafs Twitter account responded to many of these complaints with a message along the lines of: "We appreciate the feedback and understand there are ways we can improve on for the event. Thanks for attending."
Maple Leafs fans are used to disappointment, but usually they don't experience it until the season is underway.
