Leland Irving signs with KHL's Salavat Yulaev

Leland Irving has declined an invitation to skate with the Tampa Bay Lightning, choosing to remain overseas.

Irving appeared in 55 games for Jokerit Helsinki last season, authoring a 23-18-12 record with a 2.14 goals against average and 0.922 save percentage.
He last played in the NHL with the Calgary Flames during the 2012-13 season.
