The Nashville Predators have given defenseman Brian Lee an opportunity to resurface, inviting him to training camp on a pro tryout.
The former ninth-overall selection of the Ottawa Senators in 2005 last played in the league two years ago, skating in 22 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
He suffered a torn ACL with Tampa Bay's AHL affiliate in Syracuse and sat out the entire 2013-14 season.
In over 200 games of NHL service, Lee scored five goals, 36 points and tallied 124 penalty minutes.
