Ducks prospect Shea Theodore out 4-6 weeks with elbow injury

The Anaheim Ducks will be without one of their most intriguing prospects at training camp.
The 19-year-old, a first-round pick of the Ducks at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, lit up the WHL with the Seattle Thunderbirds last season. In 70 games, Theodore scored 20 goals and managed 79 points. Theodore also made his professional debut, playing eight games between the regular season and Calder Cup playoffs with the Ducks' AHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.
While the skilled puck-mover was likely to be in tough to crack the Ducks' roster this season, Theodore has a mature enough game that, if healthy, he could've potentially pushed the likes of Mark Fistric and Bryan Allen for playing time with a strong preseason performance.
