Red Wings' Datsyuk will undergo MRI, expects to be off ice for a week

The Detroit Red Wings may have been a little banged up in their first preseason game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday, but it was a shoulder injury to Pavel Datsyuk that was front and center.
Datsyuk was pinched off into the boards by Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi and left the game with a sore shoulder.
Pavel Datsyuk (right shoulder) said he expects to not skate for at least a week, but still has to undergo MRI. Was in good humor. #RedWhngs

Datsyuk will likely sit out the rest of the seven preseason games to prepare for the regular season.
