Lightning GM calls Drouin's injury a minor setback: 'We're going to put him in the lineup'

The Tampa Bay Lightning's blue chip prospect Jonathan Drouin suffered a thumb injury that will keep him off the ice for three-to-four weeks, but that won't hinder his ability to make the team, according to general manager Steve Yzerman.
As per Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times, Yzerman called the injury a "minor setback", adding, "we're going to put him in the lineup."
How he plays once back on the ice will determine whether he's featured in a top-six role or is eased into the NHL.
The talented 19-year-old left winger is expected to make an immediate impact for the Lightning this season, and is considered one of the early favorites to win the Calder Trophy next June.
