The Columbus Blue Jackets will be without winger Boone Jenner for a "significant" amount of time after the sophomore pro broke his hand at practice Sunday, per the Columbus Dispatch.
The report suggests Jenner will miss at least a month, but further testing is required to determine the severity of the break.
With Nathan Horton's ailing back and Ryan Johansen's holdout, the Blue Jackets are now without their projected top line with the season-opener just over a week away.
