Robidas, signed as a free agent this past offseason, joins captain Dion Phaneuf and forward Joffrey Lupul as the designated leaders both on and off the ice.
The veteran defenseman played in 885 games prior to his arrival in Toronto, recording 56 goals and 195 assists. He also brings 47 playoff games of experience to the table as Toronto looks to get back into the Eastern Conference mix.
