Lightning's Gudas receives warning from NHL after hit on Upshall
Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas will not be subject to supplemental discipline after a rather questionable hit on Florida Panthers forward Scottie Upshall during Thursday's 3-2 overtime win.
No official hearing will be scheduled for Gudas, according to Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times. Instead, he received a phone call from Director of Player Safety Stephane Quintal, who let him know the play was "close to the edge."
In case you missed the incident, here's another look:
In light of the non-decision from the NHL, Gudas expressed he's not going to change his game any time soon.
Gudas on hit: "It's part of my game, I'm going to play the body, too. I don't want to say guys should expect it. But this stuff happens."

The Lightning and Panthers won't meet again until March 1 in Tampa Bay.
