Bailey, the mascot for the Los Angeles Kings, tried to help the Edmonton Oilers during Tuesday's 6-1 blowout by offering them some literature.
Edmonton fell behind by three goals in the opening 10 minutes, and trailed 5-0 in the second period after allowing a pair of goals 25 seconds apart, so Bailey brought a copy of "Hockey for Dummies" down to the Oilers bench to share some knowledge. Or maybe it was to rub salt in their wounds.
Maybe Edmonton could use a book on how to deal with Los Angeles' scoring line of Tanner Pearson, Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli, who combined for four goals and seven points against an overmatched Oilers defense.
