Red Wings sign Tyler Bertuzzi to 3-year, entry-level contract

The Detroit Red Wings have signed forward prospect Tyler Bertuzzi to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Friday.
The 19-year-old was drafted in the second round of the 2013 Draft, and registered 10 goals and 25 assists in 29 regular season games and an additional seven goals and 17 assists in the playoffs for the OHL's Guelph Storm last season.
Nephew of former Red Wing Todd Bertuzzi, Tyler plays with a similar edge. In five OHL games this season, he scored a goal, added three assists and recorded 11 penalty minutes.
