From late-game heroics to unconventional goaltending strategies, there were plenty of lasting images from Saturday night's action in the NHL.

Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. scored an unfathomable goal against the Colorado Avalanche and celebrated by shaking a leg.

Jordin Tootoo took part in his first fight as a Devil when he was challenged by Sharks defenseman Andrew Desjardins after hitting Sharks winger Adam Burish.

Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg scored the game-winning goal with 10 seconds left in overtime Saturday against the Maple Leafs, one night after tallying four assists in another victory over Toronto.
Zetterberg and the Red Wings saluted the crowd at Joe Louis Arena.

Not to be outdone, Chicago Blackhawks star Jonathan Toews scored the overtime game-winner against the Nashville Predators, and he did it shorthanded.

St. Louis Blues forward David Backes scored a power-play goal in the first period against the Arizona Coyotes, but it was the reaction of devastated Coyotes defenseman Michael Stone that made this one memorable.

It certainly did. Svedberg stopped 32 shots en route to a 4-0 shutout.
St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz recorded his first career hat trick.
