The Buffalo Sabres gave 2014 second-overall draft pick Sam Reinhart the day off Saturday, but he'll be back in the lineup Wednesday.
Head coach Ted Nolan thought Reinhart needed some time off telling NHL.com, "I think he was just overwhelmed in the first number of games."
Reinhart played in the Sabres' first five games, failing to register a point. "It’s better to sit back and watch and observe and get a new perspective," Nolan said. "... he’s going in tonight."
