Report: Sabres asking for 2 young players in return for Stewart
Kevin Hoffman / USA TODAY Sports
The Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabres were reportedly in serious discussions in regards to a deal for Sabres forward Chris Stewart, but nothing was reached, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
According to other teams, Friedman reports that the asking price is two young players or a younger player and a draft pick. Of course, the Sabres don't have to move Stewart and therefore will try to get the maximum return.
Stewart, 26, has one point in seven games this season.
