From retirement and Remembrance Day ceremonies to hockey hugs and angry faces, Saturday's schedule was chock-full of interesting moments.

Here are 10 photos you need to see from Saturday's action:

The Canadiens retired Guy Lapointe's No. 5 jersey prior to their win over the Minnesota Wild. Much pomp and circumstance ensued, as Montreal is wont to do.

Meanwhile, in Toronto, a Remembrance Day ceremony was held in advance of Canada's veterans' memorial day on Nov. 11.

Johnny Gaudreau iced a win over the Florida Panthers with an empty-net goal as the upstart Calgary Flames improved to 9-5-2.

Leo Komarov scored the game-winning goal in Toronto's 5-4 decision over the New York Rangers, and received a little love from fellow Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri for his efforts.

Winnipeg Jets center Mathieu Perreault sealed a win over the Ottawa Senators with a shootout goal past Craig Anderson in the sixth round.

Pittsburgh defenseman Kris Letang recorded two goals and two assists against the Buffalo Sabres, and celebrated accordingly. And yes, this was a road game, despite all the Penguins jerseys in the background.

Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon was ejected after being called for boarding on Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn, causing Colorado head coach Patrick Roy to turn all kinds of red.

The Capitals celebrated an overtime goal by Nicklas Backstrom as Washington defeated former teammate Justin Peters and the Carolina Hurricanes.

Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin scored a hat trick against the San Jose Sharks, while Jason Spezza recorded his 700th career point in his 700th career game on Seguin's third goal.

Los Angeles forward Anze Kopitar somehow managed to score from this angle on Vancouver goalie Ryan Miller, the third of three first-period goals the Kings scored on the Canucks.
