Interest in free agent center Andrei Loktionov has increased in the last two months, if his agent is to be believed.
Loktionov's agent, former NHL forward Igor Larionov, says five NHL teams and four teams in the KHL are interested in his client, according to Sports.ru's Igor Eronko.
In August, Larionov said Loktionov had two or three options in the NHL.
Loktionov underwent offseason shoulder surgery after suffering an injury in the world championships while playing for Russia.
He played 20 games for Carolina last season after being acquired from the New Jersey Devils.
