Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will likely hear from the NHL department of player safety after this reckless elbow to the head of Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry in the dying seconds of the third period.
Landeskog left his feet to deliver the hit, driving his arm into Perry's face. Perry was shaken up on the hit, but returned to the Ducks bench unaided.
Landeskog was assessed a minor for charging, effectively ending Colorado's comeback bid.
