Report: Canadiens' Sekac avoids supplemental discipline after hit on Zadorov
Kevin Hoffman / USA TODAY Sports
Montreal Canadiens forward Jiri Sekac reportedly won't face further discipline from the league after his hit on Buffalo Sabres defenseman Nikita Zadorov on Wednesday night.
Sekac doesn't have a hearing scheduled with the NHL's Department of Player Safety, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA.
The Canadiens winger was given a two-minute minor for boarding after launching Zadorov into the boards from behind.
Zadorov left the game after the hit but did return.
