GIF: Kesler appears to taunt Flames fans after shootout goal
Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Kesler is an irascible presence on the ice.
The persistent two-way forward brings a dogged determination to everything he does; whether it's in the face-off circle, or killing penalties, or selling calls, or taking the occasional liberty with his opponents after the whistle.
The man who originally drafted Kesler, Brian Burke, summed it up best earlier this week:
Brian Burke says Ryan Kesler "Wakes up grumpy, comes to the rink grumpy and is belligerent, ugly." These were all compliments. #NHLDucks

On Tuesday night, during a shootout against the Calgary Flames, Kesler scored a goal in the shootout. Then he appeared to taunt the Flames faithful, by putting his hand to his ear:

A taunt. In the skills competition. In a mid-November regular season game. A game that Anaheim ultimately lost.
We've reached peak Ryan Kesler.
