Canucks' Twitter account trolls Kesler after Vrbata's go-ahead goal
When Anaheim Ducks center Ryan Kesler was a Vancouver Canuck, he wore a jersey with No. 17 on the back of it. Now that Kesler is gone, after demanding a trade out of Vancouver and significantly limiting the Canucks' options with his no-trade clause, offseason free-agent acquisition Radim Vrbata wears the No. 17.
Vrbata isn't Kesler, but he is Vancouver's leading scorer. And in the second period of Thursday's game between the Ducks and the Canucks – Kesler's first return to Rogers Arena since the trade – Vrbata scored a second-period goal that gave Vancouver the lead.
