1993 - Glenn Anderson plays his 1,000th game
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Glenn Anderson hits a benchmark for longevity when he appears in his 1,000th NHL game, a 5-3 loss to the Calgary Flames.
Anderson plays his final NHL season in 1995-96 with the St. Louis Blues, finishing with 498 goals and 601 assists in 1,129 regular-season games.
The six-time Stanley Cup champion is inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008.
