The Toronto Maple Leafs are set to welcome one of their offseason acquisitions to their regular-season lineup.
Forward David Booth, signed to a one-year, $1.1-million deal this past summer, will make his Maple Leafs debut when the team visits the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday.
Booth fractured his foot during a preseason game against the Buffalo Sabres, and will be looking to bounce back from a series of down seasons split between the Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks.
In 66 games with the Canucks last season, Booth scored nine goals and added ten assists.
