Avalanche's Varlamov will likely play Monday, Pickard to start Saturday

Colorado Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov will likely play Monday against the Montreal Canadiens, but he'll sit out Saturday's game against the Dallas Stars.

Calvin Pickard will get the start Saturday according to head coach Patrick Roy, who said, "He's earned it."
Pickard has a 2-3 record this season.
